Hi, all.
I'm the author of SANTA STEPS OUT
and DEADWEIGHT and a few other
novels
you may have heard of.
Following Doug Clegg's lead, I'm
offering my next novel,
DEADOLESCENCE:
A TALE OF LOVE AND SACRIFICE, as
a free e-serial, launch date October
31, then every week another two
chapters, 13 weeks in all (not planned,
it just turned out that way!).

The Classic Mystery Stories anthology
I got for nothing from the library
sale a couple of weeks ago turns out
to be a collection of supernatural
tales rather than murder mysteries as
I'd assumed. Which is fine, since I
happen to love tales of the
supernatural anyway. And a couple of
the stories by writers I wasn't familiar
with have turned out to be absolutely
superb little stories. I mentioned A. M.
Burrage's THE WAXWORK earlier.
H. F. Arnold's THE NIGHT WIRE,
originally published in the pulp
magazine Weird Tales in 1926, is
altogether stranger, a tale of a night
spent in the newsroom of a
newspaper, as the stories come in
from across the world from
the various wire services. The story
that comes in this night is very
strange indeed - a mysterious fog is
apparently descending on a small town,
cutting it off from the world. The
tension builds up as the fragmented
and enigmatic reports come in. Very
creepy, and very effective. I loved this
story!
And for those who don't mind reading
off a computer screen, it can be found
online -

This was a lot of fun! Rather scared me
about myself; horror fiction doesn't scare me.
When did that happen; eh?
You get a; person; who wants to have a lot of
fun in a gentleman's club. He has fun and in
some rather disgusting ways.
Highly Buzzable and Buzzalicious!
